WebLogic Proxy Plugin Configuration⚓︎

When a WebLogic application is access directly via https things work, but once an F5 VIP is placed in front of the VIP the application appears to break. Upon further troubleshooting you will find that the application is redirecting users from https/443 to http/80 on various calls, which due to 80 not being opened on the F5 creates what appears to be a broken application

This is crated by a missing Proxy Plug-In configuration in WebLogic.

Fix⚓︎

1) Environment > Servers > Managed Server > Configuration Tab > General > Advanced > WebLogic Plug-In: Enabled 2) Cluster > Cluster Name > Configuration Tab > General > Advanced > WebLogic Plug-In Enabled > Yes/Inherit
